Oneoneone is a contemporary art gallery situated inside the design office of Sitzer-Spuria Studios in downtown Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The space is a repurposed and fluid area of the office whose function oscillates between gallery and the design firm’s conference room. The project aims to combine the traditional brick and mortar art gallery with the artist-run alternative art space. Oneoneone hosts exhibitions of chrysalis, emerging, and established artists in the format of either solo or three person shows. The primary mission of the gallery is to offer the increasingly elusive physical space needed for artists to show their work and for collectors, connoisseurs, and the greater community to engage with it directly.
